Cleanit Greenit Composting Systems Inc. (Cleanit Greenit) has been making a stink in West Edmonton for over a decade. I edited the drafted letter prepared by Alberta's NDP Caucus communications team and sent this official correspondence to Minister Nixon of Environment and Parks, following up to unanswered correspondence sent on Nov 18, 2020. Over the years the Edmonton-West Henday constituency office has received hundreds of complaints, as has the City of Edmonton, from residents impacted by the noxious odours created by this facility. The City took unprecedented legal action against Cleanit Greenit in order to shut down operations due to inaction from the province. The company's official Alberta Environment registration is cancelled effective June 30, 2022: this much-needed resolution was expedited partly by this letter.
