About
The Central Coastal Tourism Partnership (CCTP) Sea The Coast festival is a two-day paddling excursion from Confederation Bridge to Victoria-by-the-Sea. CCTP was established in 2011 and represents 100 small-to-medium tourism businesses in rural Prince Edward Island.
For the 2018 event, CCTP partnered with Lennox Island First Nation to ensure and strengthen the authenticity of the Indigenous experiences offered during the festival.
Project Overview
Working for ACOA, I drafted the original copy and client quote, then guided the news release through approvals, wrote tweets and sent it to translation services. I coordinated with Minister Chagger's office for her quote and the Province for Minister Palmer's quote.
This news release resulted in my first 309 published words, picked up by The Guardian.
